Precautions for the storage of stainless steel chains

Release Time:

Stainless steel chains must be stored according to reasonable regulations in order to extend their service life!

1: When the components are not in use, they should not be placed anywhere and should not be stored in damp, high-temperature, or chemically corrosive areas. Avoid storing in a damp environment. Stainless steel chains can react chemically with water and oxygen on the surface to form rust, which can damage the quality of the chain.

2: Do not place it in areas with excessively high temperatures or direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can cause the temperature of the chain surface to rise, leading to thermal expansion and contraction, which can alter the physical properties of the chain.

3: In corrosive chemical environments, the surface of chain sprockets can be severely corroded. Generally, chains used in corrosive environments are mostly galvanized or nickel plated chains.
